Conference Dinner - Leeds Castle

Date: Wednesday 23 August 2023

Time: 7:30pm – pre dinner drinks, dinner 8.15pm (coaches to leave Uni of Greenwich at 5pm)

Midnight – departure from Leeds Castle (expected back at Greenwich approx 1am)

Coaches will take us to the loveliest castle in the world. Leeds Castle has been a Norman stronghold; the private property of six of England’s medieval queens; a palace used by Henry VIII and his first wife Catherine of Aragon; a Jacobean country house; a Georgian mansion; an elegant early 20th century retreat for the influential and famous; and in the 21st century, it has become one of the most visited historic buildings in Britain.

A three course dinner will be held in The Fairfax Hall, which is an immaculately restored Kentish timber-framed barn that dates from 1680. With sweeping views from its terrace across the moat to the castle.

The cost to attend this evening is £95 to include coach travel, drinks reception, 3 course meal and entertainment
