Welcome Address

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the organising committee, we are pleased to announce the 9th UK–China International Particle Technology Forum and the 18th Particle Technology Early Career Forum, which will be held jointly in Greenwich on 21–23 August 2023. This event aims to bring together the scientists and engineers who work on the research and science of particle technologies in sustainable future manufacturing.

The UK-China Particle Technology Forum started in 2007 (University of Leeds, UK) and has alternated between China and the UK since then: Guiyang (2009), Birmingham (2011), Shanghai (2013), Leeds (2015), Yangzhou (2017), Edinburgh (2019) and Dali (2021). The Particle Technology Early Career Forum, supported by the IChemE, Particle Technology Special Interest Group (PTSIG), UK, has also been a successful platform for a long history to promote early career researchers involving the latest achievements and future challenges in particle technologies.

The event will include a Seminar for Young Scientists and Early Career Researchers, Best Presentation Awards and as well as Best Poster Awards.
